School Board Recognition Month

January is School Board Recognition Month-a time to salute the work of School Board members and a time to celebrate public education.

Loup City Public Schools Board members must develop policies and make tough decisions on complex educational issues, which impact our entire community. Our Board members bear the responsibility for an annual multi-million dollar budget, 301 students, 63 employees, buildings and grounds and many more concerns.

Loup City Board of Education continuing members include:

  • Mike Rademacher (president)
  • Jim Jaeschke ( vice-president)
  • Kelly Griffith (secretary)
  • Lorraine Panowicz (treasurer)
  • Steve Badura
  • Rick Chilewski
  • Pat Kuehl
  • Becky Lambrecht
A new Board Member, Cindy Erickson, will be sworn in at the January Meeting.
Going off of the Board is, Gary Dethlefs, who leaves with our special thanks for all that he has done for our district during his time on the Loup City Board of Education.

Please join me in recognizing and thanking the individuals who volunteer to serve our students and to guide our district.
